He's going to heaven!

It was Memorial Day weekend, so we enjoyed the extra day off and Isaac was baptized this weekend. He did great during the ceremony, even took a little catnap. Here are some pictures...of the family and my sister and brother-in-law--Isaac's godparents.

Then Isaac and his cousin Maren got to hang out over the weekend. It is fun because Isaac is able to sit up a little bit better and it is fun to see them interact. Maren is becoming a little thief though, she tries to take Isaac's pacifier...right out of his mouth!

Hopefully, we won't develop parent/child rivalry. Isaac and Maren were planning with soft toy blocks and my sister accidently hit Isaac on the head, so what did I do...I threw a block at Maren's head! It didn't even phase her though, she kept on playing!

Here is a picture of them watching Baby Einstein! Their favorite!

Sitting up more and more

He is getting stronger more and more everyday. This video was actually a few weeks ago. He can sit up pretty well now--of course with some assistance! I had him on his tummy today and put his pacifier in front of him and he actually reached for it! I almost cried!

The video isn't to clear but still cute!

Lots of happenings...

We had a great 1st Mother's Day. Nick took my recommendations but did way too much for Mother's Day. A ring and bracelet from Tiffany's but my favorite gift was a necklace and pendant with Isaac's initials on it.

We went to Chicago this past weekend for a wedding and he did great in the long car ride, a little fussy towards the end but I was too! Sara and Rachel watched him while Nick and I went to the wedding and he loved hanging out with them. They took him to Wrigley Field for a photo opp! I would post the picture but Nick deleted it. Of course, Isaac didn't really pay attention to the time change, so he was up at his regular time--6am but it was 5am Chicago time!

And he had his 3 month check up today but no shots--good thing I didn't give him Tylenol before the appointment! But he weighs 13lbs 5 oz and is 26 inches tall! He is changing so fast. He rolled over the other day in the crib and is getting better control of his head.

1st day of new daycare

Isaac started a new daycare today and things went great! I was relieved it went well but not really nervous leaving him which was a good feeling--that meant no crying at work! Loretta, his new daycare lady, said he was a happy boy, who had 2 good naps and a few cat naps and ate really well. He is finally getting on a routine of getting ready for bed at 7:30pm and asleep by 8:20ish. I am finding out he loves to getting his face washed! And he is sleeping through the night but moving around some--so I get up and put the pacifier back in his mouth and he falls right back to sleep. But he is getting up at 6am! UGH

I'm getting excited for Mother's Day too. Nick said he wanted help on gifts, so I showed him the jewelry I liked at Tiffany's! He said he wanted suggestions, so I gave him some!
