6 months already

Happy 6 months to Isaac! I can't believe it has been 6 months since he was born. I really don't remember what I did before he was born.

Before he was born I had interupted sleep with Nick snoring, went to bed early because I'm always tired, and didn't and still don't want to work! So, nothing has really changed!



What Isaac is doing now:

*Eating solid foods--sweet potatoes are his favorite, sweet peas are not --which is funny because it's his parents favorite veggie

Once he sees you eating, he wants it. In the picture below, I was trying to feed him but he wanted what his dad was eating.


*Trying to roll over and no we don't practice on the table*Sitting up by himself--with a little assistance but more and more by himself

*Laughing at the dogs and himself in the mirror

*Trying to get everything in his mouth--aka teething!

Isaac's first pool party

My little Gilligan!

We had his first pool party this past weekend with his cousin Maren. He really wasn't too interested in the water but he didn't mind it. He was too busy getting the toys into his mouth.

Maren on the other hand loved it. And as you can tell we are very patriotic with their suits! (It wasn't planned)

We did sign him up for swim lessons in October! I'm really excited. He will be a little bit older then and will hopefully really like the water. Nick was concerned about the winter months because he will forget everything he learned in swim class!

And here is Isaac supporting the fellow Cubbies! We aren't avid baseball fans but we have to cheer for someone since Indy doesn't have a team. Sorry Rachael! We need some Red Sox stuff.

First 4th and now sick

We're kind of behind with posting things. We had a fun 4th of July though. Went to Lake Lemon with my sister and her family. Cousin Maren couldn't stand that Isaac was getting his 2 front teeth, so she decided to pop out her bottom two teeth. We found them that day.

We missed the fireworks but that's ok because Isaac was ready for bed.

Friday, Isaac came down with a really bad cough and it hasn't be fun for anyone, especially at night. But there really isn't anything we can do so we are toughing it out. I stayed home with him today so he could just rest because for some reason he won't nap too long at daycare. So, as I type he is still asleep and going on 3 hours! Here is a picture of us this morning watching Ellen! I did it for you, Steven!

First tooth?!

How can 5 months go by so fast and how can he be getting a tooth?! I realized it on Sunday and then yesterday, it looks like both bottom teeth are coming in. Crazy!
