It's hard work being a big brother

Isaac opted out of a bath the other night but wanted to help with his little brother's bath. This cracks me up because this is how we sit when we give him a bath!

Lucas just adores his big brother. Hopefully this will continue through the years.

Happy (belated) St. Patty's/Anniversary Day

Nick and I were married 4 years ago Thursday, St Patrick's Day. Time flies! I didn't post anything on the actual day because we were out celebrating, basically acting like we were 21 again. And we definitely learned or at least I did, that I am not! But thanks to him and our marriage we have the happiest and most loving kids that I know. Who adore each other...for now!

Car conversations

Back story--on the way to daycare but needed to stop and get gas...

Me: We need to stop and get gas.
Isaac: I don't see gas.
Me: The gas station is up here on the left. Do you know which way is left?
Isaac: Yes
Me: Which way?
Isaac: I don't know. (pointing) Either that way or that way.

Circus Circus

I won tickets to the Murat Shrine Circus through Indy Moms and it was somewhat entaining. I'm not a fan of the circus mainly because of what you hear on how the animals are treated. And I think animals should be in the wild and not on display. But I can't rant for too long because we go to the zoo.

It was a night of free stuff. Which is always nice because I never win anything or get free things.

Won the tickets--check.

A light saber that lights up and my children are obsessed with and

they burnt out the light. --Check

Took a picture with a clown and was given a free program, which was a "winner" and won a $100 dollar gift card to Wal Mart.--check

Went to Wal Mart to by a new car seat for Lucas, which was priced at $179 but all the boxes where marked $90 and they graciously sold it to me for $90! So, it was basically free!

So the circus was good to us this year. But do not plan on returning unless one of my children join the circus!

Wordless Wednesday

Side of ranch, please

Isaac used to eat anything with ketchup, especially if it was meat. Since we've introduced him to salads, which he loves, he loves ranch dressing. I'm bad too because I don't buy fat free or light ranch, I hate it! I love the (bad for you) real ranch. If the pizza place by us sold their ranch seperately, I would drink it! Isaac is the same way. There have been times were I've caught him ignoring his food and just dipping about three fingers in the ranch and licking it off. Of course, I correct him but I really can't fault him either! But because of ranch, he ate pretty much a whole chicken breast for dinner the other night. So he got the protein he needed!

On another note he said the cutest thing to me last night when going to bed.
I said, "I love you big boy." He replied, "I love you grown up."
