Isaac was still hungry

The doctor was right...watch the baby and dog food. I guess Isaac was still hungry this morning when he decided to crawl over the dogs eating their breakfast and take two handfuls of Winston's food. Nick doesn't think he ate any but he isn't sure!

Eating like a big boy

We had another Sunday brunch out as a family and Isaac did great. He had fun flirting the lady sitting next to us, who by the way thought he was 3 or 4 months old! So she was a little off.

We ordered Isaac his first meal from a resturant, grilled cheese and fruit. He even got to use his new placemat from Aunt Rachael. I thought I would never need one of those but it was great.

He woofed everything down and here is a picture of him "throwing back a cold one" as Nick called it. Don't worry, it was only apple juice and water.

Pictures a little fuzzy because it's from Nick's phone.

How to baby proof things for a 9 month old?

Mr. Isaac is 9 months! I can't believe it! He is practicing for Mr. Universe!

First, here are the facts
30 inches long--95 percentile
20lbs and 12 oz--50 percentile

He is the same weight as his 13 month old cousin! But I am realizing we haven't babyproofed the house very well. As he plays under the computer desk trying to get all the cords! Now that he is officially crawling we definitely need to. Our doctor said we even need to watch the dogs food and water bowl. And I never even thought of keeping the bathroom door shut or putting the toilet lid down, so he won't fall in and drown! Too much to think about!
He is getting one of his front teeth and the one to the side and that has made some nights very long. He just screams out in the middle of the night. I feel so bad.

Isaac met the next President of the United States

Of course, he won't remember but I sure will! What an awesome memory and great picture for his baby book!

Happy Halloween!

Isaac had a great 1st Halloween and I really enjoyed it too! He had his 1st party at daycare and Sharon went all out with bags, cupcakes, a stroll down the street (mainly for the older kids), hot cider for the adults and of course, costumes!! Then on the 31st, we went over to Grandma's to do some trick or treating because Nick and I wanted candy.

And for even bigger news...he is getting his front tooth! So, that explains the crankiness!
