Many thanks

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a great Thanksgiving and found many resons to be thankful. Isaac said he was thankful for this race car bed and his little brother. If that didn't make me cry, the St. Jude Children's Hospital commericals sure did. I was a mess. We are so lucky and blessed that we are all healthy and together!
Of course, on a day the kids can sleep in, they all decide to get up at 6am! But we watched cartoons and of course the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Isaac loved the dancing and especially the Rockettes! He needs to work on his kicks!
This year I decided I wanted to be Martha and bake a homemade apple pie and it was except for the box of pie crust!
Here it is from beginning to end...

The box said it would make 2 crusts but we barely got one! So my strips weren't the prettiest!

It was pretty good if I say so myself!

Update on stats

Lucas had his 4 month check up and sadly he had to get shots. The only good thing is that he doesn't know that they are coming. Unlike his brother, you just mention our doctor's name and Isaac says " I don't want to get shots!!"

Height: 28 inches...same as Isaac @ 4months
Weight: 17lbs, 12 oz...3lbs heavier than Isaac @ 4 months

He just seems so much bigger! He carries it all in his cheeks!

Happy Halloween

It's become tradition to go to my mom's and go trick or treating. Isaac was going to go as Woody this year because he loves Woody and Buzz but he decided on this dragon costume at the last minute.

I have to laugh because his pants are little short! Oh well!

I had a pumpkin costume for Lucas but I figured he wouldn't be out getting out to get candy. So I made this Charlie Brown shirt (very last minute). And as you can see it was very hard to put together!


He loved the ghosts at this house! The person called him a "scary dinosaur" and Isaac corrected him very quickly--"I'm a dragon silly!"

Leading up to Halloween--part 1

We had an eventful week leading up to Halloween with pumpkin carving and a party at daycare. Of course, I took lots of pictures so I'm going to do it in parts!

For being somewhat OCD on what touches his hands--just like daddy--Isaac loved the inside guts of the pumpkin. Lucas doesn't know what to think!
