1st Christmas

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone. But it was a good one and we had lots of fun. Isaac really didn't know what was going on but it was fun for mom and dad. We didn't go all out with gifts because like I said, he had no idea what was going on. But I did buy him a stocking stuffer, which he enjoyed. Really he enjoyed the big bag other toys were in from aunts and uncles.

We made a visit to Santa Christmas Eve with my family and Isaac was great. He still couldn't figure out the man in the red suit. Cousin Maren had another issue...she just wanted away from the guy in the red suit!

Isaac's gift to Maren. She is offically a little girl with her new stroller. But she wanted to ride in it!

Isaac enthralled with the balls from another toy and looking at Maren's gift to him...My Little Pony! Don't ask Nick about it, he was none to happy.

Happenings before Christmas

I'm trying to catch up and post some pictures from our new camera. I have taken so many and I think they are pretty cute...so I want to post them. Here are some things Isaac has been getting into...

Christmas party at daycare with no tears!

Isaac's daycare had a Christmas party last night for the kids. Sharon keeps the kids for dinner and a bath, then Santa comes. Nick and I were able to have a date night and went out to dinner but I wasn't feeling so great but it was still nice. But after 12 hours of not seeing the little guy, I started to really miss him. But he had his first encounter with Santa and...no tears!!

Bath time with friend Brennan.

No tears!

Still trying to figure out--who is this guy?!

Isaac update

Sorry, no new pictures. I'm waiting for our new camera to come in and then I'll go crazy.
Anyway, after a long few days/nights of a fever, extra crankiness, and not a whole lot of eating...Isaac has roseola. It's just a rash that is comes after a high fever and Isaac has definitely had all the symptoms. The change in attitude has really taken Nick and I by surprise. When he get mad or tired, he lets out a load "urrrr" sound and clinches his fist. It's actually quite funny but I shouldn't laugh. Doc says it will just go away on it's own.
But while we were eating lunch today, I saw another tooth coming him--so that will be 5!!! And that might explain some fussiness.
Looking forward to Christmas and Isaac seeing Aunt Rachael, who he hasn't seen since he was 2 months old!

Scared of Santa

Nick and I are wagering if Isaac will be afraid of Santa Claus. We haven't taken his picture yet but Nick thinks he will be afraid and I don't think he will. Here are some great pictures of other kids afraid of Santa. I love number 4 and 18! Check back to see if Isaac was scared of Santa.

Thanksgiving break

It was Isaac's first Thanksgiving and he loved all the food. We went to Grandma Marie's house on Thursday and then down to B-town on Friday. Cousin Maren wanted him to spend the whole weekend and give Nick and I break but I couldn't do it. I felt guilty doing it and it didn't help that he was crying and wouldn't go to bed when we were trying to leave. So, we took him home but ended up going back down on Saturday for a little cousin time.

Isaac's crafts from daycare...with a little help of course.

Sharon named him Big Bear!

Waiting for Uncle Steven to feed him! Cousin Maren not sure why Isaac gets her high chair. Let's just say, sharing was the goal for the weekend!
