Ready for summer

Watching the ducks in Broad Ripple. Quack, quack

Thought this would be great for the scrap book, to remember he lived in Broad Ripple when he was born.

His new wagon, which he loves. And likes to throw mini trantrums when he has to get out. Fun times.

He got a hair cut Sunday because his bangs were in his eyes. Before his haircut...his hair was so long!

And after...ready for summer. He got his first sucker because he was getting antsy and it helped him sit still.

While Nick was at the race, my mom and I took Isaac to Holiday Park. It is an awesome park and definitely will go back throughout the summer.

Go Red Sox!

Grandma following Isaac in the tunnel, trying not to get stuck.

Isaac's first bike ride. I was so excited when my mom found the seat at a garage sale! Isaac loved it. He kept on saying--wee, wee...the whole time.

15 month checkup

Isaac had his doctor's appointment yesterday and all is well in toddler land. He had one shot and Dr. Leland said he is doing great. I put him back on 2% even though doc said it didn't matter because he is fine in his weight. But now I'm glad I did because he's running around so much he needs to extra fat. (He can take some of mine!)
  • Weight--25.14 oz--65 percentile--barely gained a pound from last time
  • Height--34 inches--he is off the chart in height, hopefully that will continue and not get my height.
  • Head--19 inches--75% percentile--seems bigger with all the hair!
I found Nick's birth certificate and he was only 19 inches when he was born and Isaac was 22 3/4 inches. So, we will see how tall he turns out to be!
Isaac's new favorite food among many is watermelon. He loves it! He is learning more and more words but can understand many. He knows: up, down, outside, he lays down to get his diaper changed--but doesn't stay still, knows to get his shoes and socks on to go outside, and especially sit! I told the dog to sit the other day and Isaac sat down. He loves peak a boo--and sits with his blanket over his head until you say "where's Isaac?"
I just noticed in the past few days he is starting to walk on his tip toes and that is definitely a Nick trait!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day. We had a fun weekend of being at home and going to the zoo on Sunday. Nick was going to get up Isaac as part of my gift but I was up, so we all had breakfast together and played outside before Isaac's morning nap. Then my mom, sister, BIL and niece Maren went to the zoo.

Isaac the Builder--he would wore this hat all morning!

Isaac and I watching the giraffe's. New baby brown bears
Inside the children part--where they could pet goats. Man on a mission--probably looking for food!
Watching the fishyou could pet the small sharks--pretty neat! We had to take Isaac's cracker away because we were afraid he would feed them!

Isaac has his 15 month check up today. I can't believe he is 15 months! I will post his stats tomorrow.
