Isaac and Elmo

Nick and I returned on Sunday from our Cancun trip for his cousin Chad's wedding. We had a great time and I will post some pictures later. It was a hard trip at the beginning because Isaac stayed with grandma while we were gone. We had a hard time leaving him...I was the worst! But he did great with my mom. She even got him to sleep in until 7:30am every morning! But now we are back to our 6am wake up call. I seriously don't think we have used our alarm since he was born.

Isaac got his second round of his 4 month shots yesterday. Yuck! The first one wasn't bad but he did not like the second one. So, after a short afternoon nap Isaac had a few words for his friend Elmo! I think he was telling him how he did not like his shots. It was hilarious. Take a look...it is pretty much 6 minutes of him talking. You don't have to watch all 6 minutes though!
You might have to click on the big screen then it will take you to the actual You Tube sight--then click on "watch in high quality" It wasn't working earlier but it might be my computer.

Happy Father's Day

Isaac's way to say Happy Father's Day...all he wanted to do was eat the paper!

4 months old!

Well, lots of things have happened in the past 2 weeks. Our basement flooded, thanks to the flash flood last Friday. That wasn't fun. Luckily we didn't have anything valuable in the basement. So, Isaac spent the day with Grandma (my mom) and we actually spent a few nights at Grandma's because of the fumes from bleach and cleaning stuff we used to clean the basement. Not sure what we would have done if my mom couldn't watch Isaac or my sister and brother in law didn't come up and help. Really, I think Maren just wanted to see her Aunt Amanda! But it is dry now and hopefully will stay that way. We are looking into fixing what is needed to be fixed and maybe moving sometime soon.

But Isaac is 4 months! I can't believe it! Here are some recent pictures and will try and post a recent video. He is talking a lot and getting in giggle or two at mom and dad.

He had his 4 month check up and he is 14.4 lbs and 28 inches long! When I feed him, his body pretty much drapes across me, with his legs hanging over the arm rest.

He likes to chill with dad!
