Since Nick and I are first time parents, we didn't know any better and decided to have his birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese! That was the worst idea we have ever had. Well, Nick had the idea and I agreed because I (selfishly) didn't want to clean and then clean up afterward. Getting a table was the worst part and I'm not even going to waste my energy explaining what happened. All I will say is that they have worst seating policy and the Chuck E by us has the worst manager. But all and all, everyone had fun and it tired all the kids out. And we will never forget it...good and bad!

Everyone was way too kind and received to0 many presents for a 1 year old. We have great friends and family!

And this morning, we went out for his official birthday breakfast! Happy birthday, Isaac! We love you!
And he got new (real) shoes. He is a 4 1/2 wide and let's just say I don't buy shoes that cost that much! Baby/toddler shoe shopping is very complicated. While running errands, I realized it is definitely time to turn his car seat around. He's poor little legs can't stretch out. Hopefully we will get to that soon and probably do it before his 1st b-day. It will be a magical day but we have done and eaten a few things before his 1st b-day and they say...oh wait, until he turns 1. Oh well. I guess he will be a rule breaker!
