1 year old stats

Isaac had his 12 month check up with his 2nd flu shot and another shot, which I don't know how to spell. But he still a growing boy and taking more and more steps. It's so cute to see him walk and then stop to regain his balance but then he usually just falls on his butt.

He is 24lbs 7 oz (75 percentile) and 32 inches long (95 percentile). I don't remember his head size but its just right, not too small and luckily not too big!

We are definitely seeing some attitude changes. He gets mad so fast...wonder who he gets that from?? I say Nick but Nick says he gets it from me. We are probably equally guilty.
We introduced the tooth brush, which he loves. The doc says we should see the dentist but our dentist said we can wait til he can open his mouth on his own. So, we might wait on that one. Don't want a screaming baby in the dentist office.
And he gets so excited when he hears me getting his bath ready. He can be at the other end of the house (granted our house isn't huge) but he does his fastest crawl and then stands at the side of the tub and puts his hand under the running water and then preceeds to try and lift his leg to get in the tub! Not tall enough for that buddy! I have a video that I will try and post.

Happy 1st Birthday Isaac!

I can't believe he is 1! Time has flown by. It's just amazing to look back and see how he has changed.
We had a great weekend and it all started Friday, when he had a birthday party with his daycare friends.

He got a birthday crown!

And of course, cupcakes!

Since Nick and I are first time parents, we didn't know any better and decided to have his birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese! That was the worst idea we have ever had. Well, Nick had the idea and I agreed because I (selfishly) didn't want to clean and then clean up afterward. Getting a table was the worst part and I'm not even going to waste my energy explaining what happened. All I will say is that they have worst seating policy and the Chuck E by us has the worst manager. But all and all, everyone had fun and it tired all the kids out. And we will never forget it...good and bad!

Taking a ride with cousin Maren!

He took 5 steps...on his own...to a game!

2 cakes! The pretty one I made! Ok, it didn't turn out like I wanted it to but he liked it. And liked it a little too much...

His friend and daycare partner in crime Brennan!

Everyone was way too kind and received to0 many presents for a 1 year old. We have great friends and family!

My sister and BIL made this. I love it!

And this morning, we went out for his official birthday breakfast! Happy birthday, Isaac! We love you!

Why pudding is the best...

You can eat it and paint with it! Guess which one Isaac liked to do best?!
