2 long weeks...

I think and hope Isaac is getting back to himself. We realized he is getting his bottom two molars and was waking up in the middle of the night screaming. Not a fuss here and there but a bloody murder scream. Sorry for the harsh words but that is how it has been. He wasn't eating at daycare and that is huge in our eyes because he almost eats Sharon out of her house, he eats so much.
I was 100% sure it was teeth but then he ends up with a cold, so that might have been the problem.
And it didn't really help that we tried to change up the routine of not giving him a bottle before bed. He didn't like that. He even had a hard time with just milk before bed. I think it hurt his little tummy. So, we are still on the routine of a bath (ever other night), pj's, brushing his teeth, reading a book, bottle and then bed. I know the brushing of teeth is kind of silly when he gets a bottle after brushing but I want it in there. He loves brushing his teeth and pretty good at it.
We've had a good couple good nights, so things are getting back to normal. Knock on wood!

New blog to follow

My friend from grad school, Jen, follows this blog, Confessions of a CF Husband and I love reading it because it reminds me that I have nothing to complain about. We have jobs, we have a house but mainly everyone in our family is healthy--minus a cold here and there.
This family has been through so much and it amazing to see they are still standing. The mom/wife has CF and their precious daughter Gwynth was born at like 25 weeks. She is going strong now but has some health issues. Check out the blog and count your blessings!

1 year old stats

Isaac had his 12 month check up with his 2nd flu shot and another shot, which I don't know how to spell. But he still a growing boy and taking more and more steps. It's so cute to see him walk and then stop to regain his balance but then he usually just falls on his butt.

He is 24lbs 7 oz (75 percentile) and 32 inches long (95 percentile). I don't remember his head size but its just right, not too small and luckily not too big!

We are definitely seeing some attitude changes. He gets mad so fast...wonder who he gets that from?? I say Nick but Nick says he gets it from me. We are probably equally guilty.
We introduced the tooth brush, which he loves. The doc says we should see the dentist but our dentist said we can wait til he can open his mouth on his own. So, we might wait on that one. Don't want a screaming baby in the dentist office.
And he gets so excited when he hears me getting his bath ready. He can be at the other end of the house (granted our house isn't huge) but he does his fastest crawl and then stands at the side of the tub and puts his hand under the running water and then preceeds to try and lift his leg to get in the tub! Not tall enough for that buddy! I have a video that I will try and post.
