Future model

I submitted this picture to the Outerbanks Travel Guide. They were looking for pictures to be published in their travel guide and I thought this one was pretty good. OBX is known for their lighthouses and we went to the Cape Hatteras lighthouse. My BIL took this one of Isaac. It's not the best picture of him but I thought having the lighthouse in the background would a good selling point to be picked!

Another pair of shoes?!

When Isaac got fitted for his 1st pair of shoes, the sales lady said his feet will grow 1/2 inch every 3 months. Well, that was February and he started in a size 5 and now is in a size 7! His right foot is bigger than his left but I guess that can be normal. I just wanted to look at getting him another pair because he's been falling a lot and I thought it was just because his tennis shoes were bulky. But the salesman said they were too small. He also said he is fitting like a 2-3 year old and that he should slow down in growing when he hits 2! We will see!

Outbanks 2009

We had a great trip to Outerbanks, NC. We got a house with my side of the family--right on the beach with our own pool. Isaac loved the ocean and the sand, even though he fell and scrapped his knee the day before we left but the ocean helped keep it clean but still hurt the little guy. I took of 200 pictures but don't worry not going to post them all!

He started doing the crab walk. I guess he thought he could get away faster this way.

My sister brought her dog Archie and Isaac loved to walk him on the beach. Archie wasn't a fan on the water and would pull people back if they got too close. (you can see him touching his knee because it hurt--poor guy)

Isaac had a great time with his cousin Maren. He followed her around all week. We started buying two of everything because they are just learning the sharing thing. Because of this, Isaac got a new doll. Nick wasn't too thrilled about it. But Isaac likes it.

I guess you can say Maren and Isaac are kissing cousins! Hopefully it will stop when they get older! But it's so cute now.

I think this is my all time favorite picture of Isaac. Hopefully we can do it again next year.
