Ah!

I have to post this. I'm sure there are some out there that disagree but oh well...

Supplementing babies' formula with DHA boosts cognitive development
"Research has shown that children who were breast fed as infants have superior cognitive skills compared to those fed infant formula, and it's thought that this is due to an essential fatty acid in breast milk called docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Now a new study has found that babies fed formula supplemented with DHA have higher cognitive skills than babies fed regular formula."

I know, I know...I'm sure there are loop holes in the research but it's coming from a well known journal and it's a start. It gives something for those mom's who want/wanted to breastfeed but couldn't, feel and sometimes treated that they are evil for given their babies formula. I was one of them. I gave Isaac formula because I had to and has slowly got over feeling guilty about it.

Move over John Travolta

He actually put it on himself!

Too-Too's and play-doh!

Nick was woken up this morning by Isaac charging in and saying, "up dada!" He is talking more and more and has discovered play-doh! He is putting words together and I think my favorite is "tank you, momma" aka thank you, momma!

Duckie was involved in the fun.
He is concentrating on the task.

Isaac had a fun time playing with cousin Maren the other weekend. The too-too didn't phase him, dad wasn't a huge fan but he was having fun!

Maren as the pretty fairy.
