Kids really do say the darnest thing...

Isaac: Mama, what's that in the sky?
Mama: Those are lines from airplanes.
Isaac: No, it's Santa!

Elf on the Shelf is definitely watching over our house and making sure everyone is behaving.
He jumped from the shelf in the kitchen over to the kitchen phone.
Isaac was amazed and said it was "truly magic!"

Mama: Isaac, do you know who is coming in a few weeks to see you?
Isaac: Yes, I know. She will jumping from the airplane with a parachute and goggles!

Christmas tree time

My boys!

We finally put our Christmas decorations up this past weekend. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to get to putting lights around the outside of the house because it's so cold and we are supposed to get more snow. Oh well, there is always next year.

We had a fun time decorating the tree and Isaac is into so much more than last year. Hopefully, his decorating skills will improve because he put about every ornament I gave him on the same branch!

I told him to go and stand next to the tree and he ran up and gave it a hug!

First snow

We had our first snow fall of the season and Isaac was excited to get out there and play.
I ran around like a crazy person trying to find boots...along with the rest of the city...because no one had boots. I ended up paying way too much for some Toy Story boots that light up. Isaac loves them, so I guess that is all that matters.

It was great packing snow and we made little snow men!

My sister and kids were in for the weekend and I loved it because it meant I didn't have to entertain Isaac as much. Maren and Isaac play so well together. They really only sat down for lunch and about a 20 minute break to watch Toy Story, of course!

Cousins

Lucas and Sophia--28 days apart!

Big brother and big sister are so proud.

Lucas was looking at Maren for this one.

Probably not the safest place to have tummy time but we were right there!
