So, why do you go to church on Sunday?

To meet the future President!!

I was watching the news this morning and they said that Obama was going to the 11am service at our church - St. Luke's. I called my mom and told her to go because I was afraid that Isaac couldn't last through the service. Nick said we should go because candidates love the phote opp's with babies. So, we did. Isaac made it through the service but was getting fussy waiting for him to exit the church. Obama finally came out and I asked if we could take a picture and he said "well, he isn't very happy" and I said maybe he would calm him down and Isaac stopped crying for the minute to take the picture but forgot to look at the camera!

It was so awesome. Just to think we maybe met the future President! Then when Isaac is ready to run for President, they can put this picture up and say he had it in him at 10 weeks!

Muscle man

Isaac is finally getting a little gut. He is a big eater--eating 4 oz every time! If you really want to hear him scream, try and burp him after 2 oz. He just isn't ready to stop eating yet. And did I mention that he is a very serious little guy, except when he is on his changing table!

I think he is looking more and more like Nick too.

I broke down...

I know I said I would never do it but I did! I started a blog for Isaac. He may look back and think, "gosh mom, you were a dork!" But it is easier to post pictures and keep everyone updated on things. So, here it is. It might take some time for me to figure out how to do it but I'll figure it out. I thought I just posted something but now it's gone! Great!

So, here are recent pictures to share! He is 9 weeks on Friday, weighs 12lbs 12 oz and is 24 3/4 inches long! He can't wear 3 month old sleepers anymore because if they have feet, his poor toes are smashed and if it doesn't have feet then it looks like he has capris on!
