Weekend pix

We went to the water park near our house. They have sprinklers, water coming up from the ground and best of all it was free!

And getting too wet...

No pictures please!

Isaac normally gives us his bowl or plate when he's done but this morning he decided not to do that and decided to wear the bowl of oatmeal instead!

Here is the aftermath. It's a good thing we washed his hair the night before. Needless to say he went to daycare with crusty hair. It just looked like he had hair gel in it. I did try to get it out though!

Happy (belated) Father's Day

We had fun Father's Day! Since Nick wouldn't tell me what he wanted to do, I made the executive decision to go down to B-town. Went to lunch in the screeching hot weather and then hung out at the Winkle's.

Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Isaac walking to the pool.

The pool lasted about 10 minutes and then he got bored.

Drinking the water--as usual! One would think that we don't give him enough to drink!

The dad's and Papa Bill with the kids.

Isaac and Papa Bill--BIL's dad.

Pretty Maren sporting Isaac's Red Sox hat.

Happy dad's day to all the dad's out there. Isaac is very lucky to have a dad like Nick.

Fun weekend

We had a fun weekend. Well, Isaac and I did. Nick, probably not so much. He worked on the basement all Saturday with Uncle Steven. Hopefully, fixing the overflow problem we have when it flash floods. Saturday, we hit some garage sales and got a some great deals--$40 love seat for the sun room, $50 double stroller--retail price$300--planning for the future--and $1 sandels which enabled me to return the $20 pair exactly like the $1 pair! So, we hung out at G-ma's house (who maybe be known as GaGa to Isaac, he cracks up when I say it) with Maren and Dar aka Aunt Darcie.
Isaac finally figured out how to drink from a straw and about gulped down his milk in about 2 minutes and really only wanted that for dinner. We are having the hardest time getting him to sit in his high chair or booster seat. He would rather sit like a big boy next to me on our bench at the kitchen table. But the problem is that he doesn't stay sitting!
