Getting ready for Christmas

We are getting excited and ready for Christmas. Well, at least I am! Isaac is too. He loves any show that involves Santa, especially Dora or Diego. When you ask him what Santa says, he goes"ho, ho, ho."
We had a fun time at the Children's Museum the other week, especially the Yule Slide. They convert their stairs to a big slide. A mini slide in the holiday area.

He's getting more and more into trucks and trains--choo choo!

He was a big help up putting up the tree. We didn't go the real tree route this year. So, limb by limb Isaac would give me a part of the tree and I would put it together.

Post Thanksgiving

This is a little late but we had a great Thanksgiving. My Uncle Carl from Reno came in town and it was great to see him and catch up. And for him to finally meet the little ones. His grandkids call him "D" which is from what his own kids call him--D short for Dad. Isaac loved him. Mainly because he would swing him around like a monkey. He would run up to him and say, "gain, gain, D!"
We made a trip down to Bloomington (weekend before) and then had dinner with Nick's side and then my family.

Mae Mae Ruth and the kids playing dress up.
Isaac walking towards Kirkwood--where all the bars are at IU. He's a man on a mission--skipping class and hitting the bars. No, he doesn't get it from his mother! Sweet Maren standing outside of the Student Building, deciding if she should join Isaac. D and Isaac

What a difference 1 year and odd months make...

This is the IU seal in the Union Building. Isaac from August 2008 and then from November 2009. He is huge!

Things heard around the house

If you stopped by our house here are few things you might here--from Isaac, of course!

  • Hug, momma
  • Eat!
  • Zoup--zip his coat
  • Eleanore, hug
  • fart Isaac (Nick is especially proud)
  • I hold you momma
  • where's Dar Darce
  • Where's Mar-ren
  • Where's Bren Bren (Brennan from daycare)
  • Let's Sharon--let's go to Sharons
  • where's witch--was obsessed with Sharon's witch
  • watch Doe-Dora
  • Bootz!
  • Juice--strong emphasis on the c
  • Mielk--milk

  • it down--sit down
It's crazy how much he has been talking. Well, he's always been a talker but just babbles in his complete sentences but it's starting to make sense.
