Daycare, eating and sitting up

As many people know by now I would rather be a stay at home mom than work. Nick and I have gone back and forth about it and it's just not in the cards right now. I'm slowly coming to grips with it and I know it puts a lot of pressure on Nick to make more money. Or maybe some of the fine readers will pass down some money. :)

So since I can't stay home, Isaac has been in daycare. He started his 3rd...I know 3...daycare on Monday. Long story short, our first one wanted to take him on trips with no car base, second one called him spoiled because he wanted to be held (mainly because he sat in a bouncy seat all day) and now we started at Sharon's. I found her through Kyle, a friend and co-worker, so now Isaac and Brennan can start to become better friends! I definitely feel more comfortable with Sharon because Isaac is the youngest of the 6 kids--the rest are 12 months (Brennan) and 2 and older. So, hopefully he will get some special attention since he isn't crawling and sitting up 100%. I will keep you posted!

But here are some recent pictures. As I said before, Isaac started solid foods and I have given up on making it because he doesn't like it. No comments...no it's not my cooking! It has been so neat seeing him learning new things. It's something so basic as getting Cheerios into his mouth. The first time I put them on his tray, he just looked at them and in one week he learned to get them into his mouth...he's not very good at it but he is trying! I guess it's the little things to get excited about!

As you can see he gets a kick out of pulling my hair!

Eleanor cleaning his hands! They love it when he eats Cheerios. Dad already telling him what to do!

He always ends up with the spoon; trying to feed himself.

He's the next Robambero for the Red Sox's!

We are so glad you are at Sharon's too! Brennan loves to have another playmate. Isaac will learn so much from the older kids and they already love him! He was so cute when I saw him yesterday - just happy and laughing and pulling my hair too!!!!!!!!

Solids are fun - and who cares where the food comes from - whatever works for you and your family!

And we are glad that you are still working, b/c then your work friends get to see you everyday!
