Lucas was referred to an ENT for tubes for his ears. We got into the ENT pretty quick and found out he had a lot of blockage and wasn't really hearing out of his right ear. Of course, being concern with hearing and language development, we decided to go ahead and do tubes. But we had to wait for a month!! After the one weekend, I hit my breaking point of him walking up numerous times in the middle of the night and watching him grab both ears and cry! So, with persistant calling and a little help from the ENT dad, we go to daycare with, we were able to get in early! The surgery took a whole 14 minutes.
He's finally get back to a normal sleep schedule and has turned into a really good afternoon sleeper.
My boys! Isaac has some troubles sometimes in sharing mom and dad. It is a combination of the terrible 3's and plain old jealousy. But we are working through it.
